“I would go so far as to say that I think [Lena] has a better insight into Cersei than George does. Honestly, you can quote that fucking shit. Cersei is so much more than she is in the books, because of this woman.” - Peter Dinklage [x]

Quick info on the panel with Peter and Lena

renlyslittlerose:

1. Neither Peter nor Lena have read the books

2. Lena said Margaery represents what Cersei thinks she is, but really isn’t. And she is torn up because Joffrey is jumping from her ship to be on Margaery’s ship.

3. Peter is excited for the Red Wedding but worries for the fans

4. Lena said she would like to play Jon Snow (she was joking, but she did an amazing Jon impersonation— she could pull it off)

5. Jaime’s new… Stump adds tension to Jaime and Cersei’s relationship on an emotional level (Peter was making a bunch of sexual jokes about the stump)

6. Peter can’t say anything about his role in Xmen

7. Lena can’t say anything about the new 300. But it is called -300 (lol)

8. Peter wants to play Marie Antoinette

9. Tyrion and Shae are going ‘steady’

10. They both miss their kids a lot and wanted to cuddle a crying baby

11. They discussed sex scenes and did the usual ‘they are awkward’ speech, and then Peter said it is even worse when the other actor isn’t really into it, because he is always into it. And then he pulled a creep face.

12. Peter praised Lena and how she has brought a new dimension to Cersei. Lena in return said she doesn’t really like Peter.

13. Peter loved filming the scenes between Cersei, Tyrion and Tywin.

My question was about Peter being pushed by Lena in season 2 and how it wasn’t planned, and if they do much improv on set. Peter said that Lena had a protein shake that day and he had too many beers the night before. And then said that they try not to fiddle with the lines because the writers are always on set, and they enjoy what D&D write.

There was a lot of sarcasm and hilarious jokes, basically

I’d love a scene with Cersei. I’d love for Catelyn Stark and Cersei to have a confrontation. I would and I love Lena anyway so I’d love that. (x)

“I’m a fucking geek.”

Listening to Lena Headey do commentary is one of my favourite things to do of a Saturday morning.  I seriously think we would be BFFs in real life.
